    @Devboxes a customer gets "Mandate reference already in use" when they add their bank account. what does that mean?

    Their bank account already has an active direct debit mandate on another Acme account, usually because the company signed up twice. They can pay from that existing account, or you cancel the old mandate in the admin panel and they add the bank account again.
